Chinese lady shows how to cook with random equipment found at work

When office equipment was invented and referred to as multi-purpose, this probably wasn’t what one of the various intentions intended.

From frying pancakes on her CPU to grilling beef with a pressing iron  and popping corn with a soda can, a Chinese woman, nicknamed “Little Office Ye”, is cooking up a storm — using just the random stuff found around her office to make delicious delicacies.

Every couple of weeks, Little Office Ye uploads new videos of her culinary office-infused concoctions to Chinese social media platform Weibo which are also available to watch on YouTube as well.

Surprisingly enough, while she’s at it, her co-workers are less bothered and appear totally oblivious or just look on nonchalantly towards her antics. They’re probably used to it.

In one video, she fries a pancake on a computer casing after painstakingly disassembling a CPU and starting her own fire in a basin using scrap wood and a candle.

In another, she prepares hotpot from a water dispensing machine. And in yet another, she makes her own popcorn using a soft drink can and a bunsen burner. She also uses a clothes iron to grill strips of beef on her office desk in another video.

So, if you’re like Little Office Ye who’s got no time to cook before work. Not to worry, you can equally cook up with something for yourself at work.

Just make sure you talk to your boss about it before proceeding.
